This episode deals with getting exercise when you least expect it. We're trying to increase our consumption of calories so we can lose weight - without spending a lot of time at an expensive gym or a lot of money on equipment.

A 15-minute walk before lunch to get your muscles in gear; a few stairs instead of the elevator; parking on the opposite side of the mall and parking as far from the mall entrance as you can; pumping iron while you watch Lost. You don't need to do two hours of aerobics three times a week. You need to do a consistent amount of exercise whenever you can.

Towards the end I stumbled upon a man practicing the Sanxian - the Chinese three-stringed instrument that looks like the Japanese shamisen (which came from the sanxian). In the podcast I call it a Chinese shamisen. My Chinese friends will kill me if they hear that.
